Our Mission
To raise awareness among neurologists, gynecologists, and pediatricians about this relatively common congenital disorder.
To inform Educational Support Services that conditions like autism, ADHD, and other 'dys-' disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.) may be symptoms of an underlying condition.
To support affected individuals and their parents, as there is currently a lack of information available in Hungary. To help special education teachers understand how best to work with affected children.
To assist educators who encounter children with this condition during their careers.
To provide psychological support for affected individuals and their parents.
To advocate for this disorder to be classified as a disability, not a chronic illness, recognizing that a part of the brain is partially or completely absent in affected individuals.
To help facilitate access to MRI scans and genetic testing.
To collaborate with researchers to support their work.
To improve the availability and development of effective therapies.
To participate in international conferences to stay current with the latest information and research.
To establish both a Community Advisory Board and a Scientific Advisory Board.
As there is currently little research interest in DCC within Hungary, we aim to inspire and support a new generation of researchers in this field.
To create a patient data registry.
